Thanksgiving Food Drive – November 2024 | Roosevelt, NY from Open Hearts & Hands Inc.

In November 2024, Open Hearts and Hands Inc. responded to a critical need by hosting a community-wide Thanksgiving Food Drive in Roosevelt, NY by providing essential holiday meals to over 100 families.Through this initiative, families received essential food items to prepare a warm Thanksgiving meal, restoring not only access to nourishment but also a sense of dignity, tradition, and togetherness.

Through the support of volunteers and donors, we were able to distribute food with care, compassion, and dignity—bringing a shared commitment, joy, and a sense of togetherness to families ensuring no family was left behind during a time meant for gratitude and unity.
